Tracks in the snow, away from the prepared slopes
You can enjoy a wonderful winter holiday in the Schladming- Dachstein region without putting on skis despite what many would have you believe. For the snowboarders among you, one board may be enough. And for the rest of you, there are so many possibilities on and off the slopes! You can leave your mark on the snow in many ways – be it tobogganing, snowshoe hiking, ski touring or a horse-drawn sleigh ride.

TOBOGGANING
Tobogganing is possible not only during the day but also at night in the Schladming Dachstein region. On the Galsterberg, on the Michaelerberg, on the Mörsbachalm and the Reiteralm various tobbogan runs are available.
SKI TOURING
Ski touring has become increasingly popular in recent years. Of course you can use the slopes of the 4-mountain ski circuit for ski-touring, but there are many other possibilities away from the groomed slopes.
SLEIGH RIDE
In Haus in Ennstal it is possible to take a romantic sleigh ride through the winter forest. Simply book in advance and then listen to the sound of the horses hooves on the snow and enjoy the winter wonderland.
With us you can enjoy the skiing and the silent beauty of the winter landscape.
Winter hiking
On snow-shoes through the winter wonderland
On the go alongside the Enns
In just under an hour you can walk along the banks of the river Enns through the snow covered winter landscape. A short walk through the winter wonderland that works wonders for body and soul.
Hiking in the Ramsau
A somewhat more demanding winter hike. It takes about 2.5 hours to walk along the edge of the forest up to Ramsau. You cover about 300 metres in altitude and get to enjoy the view of Schladming.
Around the Birnberg
Our home circuit is an approx. two hour walk over the Birnberg. On the sunny side of the valley it reaches a height of about 1000 metres in altitude. The circuit offers beautiful views of the village of Haus.
